Over a decade ago, I left a successful but stress-filled career in the financial world to become a partner in a personal growth/spiritual bookstore. Through a period of deep personal chaos, I experienced a spiritual awakening. During my integration period, I was initiated into service and ritual by a Native American elder named Singing Man, an addictions counselor, and studied with him for 8 years. A comprehensive study of the healing arts led me to becoming a licensed bodyworker, as well as work with people looking to sustain their own recovery. I then began the journey to answer a lifelong call and become a ‘man who sings’, in becoming a professional musician, and recording my first album, aptly named ‘Recovery’. I now play and sing songs of spirit, magic, and consciousness, and assist others as an addiction and recovery coach.
Through my personal coaching practice named Inner Genius, I combine my broad range of life, professional and spiritual experiences to help coach others in finding and discovering their way. Our collective woundedness is not a destination, but rather, an initiation. I believe we all have a creative fire, or personal genius. Through my experiences, I’ve found that the hero’s journey in life is to discover this true genius, learn how to integrate into our practices, and express it into the world. This is the best medicine for the sometimes upside-down world we live in. I advocate and assist people in discovering and practicing their greatest dreams, their deepest spirituality, their most powerful magic. I am a troubadour, advocate, magician, musician, brother, alchemist, and most of all, friend of humanity.
